Software Engineer

Most recently at TagShift, where I led the mobile app and admin platform behind $60K in revenue and 6 enterprise clients. Based in Lagos, Nigeria.

I'm an Electrical & Electronics Engineering student at the University of Lagos who builds full-stack products and the low-level tools underneath them.

RESPond

Redis client CLI

  • Built a Redis CLI in C++17 over POSIX sockets with no hiredis or networking libraries, supporting an interactive REPL, one-shot commands, pipelines, and script execution.
  • Wrote a parser for the full RESP3 type set (bulk/verbatim strings, arrays, sets, maps, push, attributes) that renders replies as JSON.
  • Handled IPv4/IPv6 via getaddrinfo, socket timeouts, and retry with exponential backoff.
  • Tested with GoogleTest against an in-process loopback server and socketpair, so the suite needs no live Redis.

KnotJS

JavaScript modular bundler

  • Built a dependency-graph bundler from scratch: parses with acorn, resolves imports via Node’s node_modules and exports algorithm, and emits one file with a small require runtime.
  • Wrote an ESM-to-CommonJS transform with default-interop and made circular requires safe via a visited map; verified against real npm packages (nanoid, ms).
  • Walks imports via the File System API and guards output with 30+ Jest tests.

SysMonitor

Cross-platform system monitor & auto-optimizer

  • Built a cross-platform C++11 CLI that tracks real-time CPU and memory usage and renders live sparkline graphs and color-coded process tables.
  • Implemented an auto-optimization mode that detects high-CPU processes and lowers their priority, cutting mean CPU usage by up to 45%.
  • Shipped with a CMake build across Windows, Linux and macOS, a JSON config system, and a CTest suite covering the monitor and visualizer.

Hermes

Distributed task management platform

  • Designed an event-driven system of 4 services (gateway, user, task, notification) in Node.js/Express, with a MongoDB database per service and gateway-level routing and rate limiting.
  • Made messaging reliable: the publisher uses a RabbitMQ confirm channel so a request succeeds only after the broker accepts the event, and the consumer nacks poison messages to a dead-letter queue instead of crash-looping.
  • Added health/readiness probes, health-gated Compose startup, and Prometheus metrics; tested with Jest, supertest, and in-memory MongoDB, with GitHub Actions CI.

Stye

Cross-platform file-watcher CLI

  • Built a TypeScript CLI that watches files and reruns a command on change, with three run modes (restart, queue, concurrent) and full process-tree cleanup on exit.
  • Implemented a custom glob engine, debouncing, and a config-file system (JSON or a package.json key) so behavior needs zero code changes across projects.
  • Verified reliability with 66 automated tests across Node 18, 20 and 22 in CI, then published it as a scoped package on the npm registry.

Ingest

Full-stack portfolio generator

  • Developed a 6-endpoint FastAPI service that parses a resume and GitHub profile with an LLM.
  • Generates live, editable Vanilla JS portfolios from 3 templates in under 5 seconds.
  • Validated parsing and generation endpoints with 25+ Pytest cases across sample inputs.
